Welcome To Leipzig

The Welcome to Leipzig project aims to improve the structures for welcoming international guest researchers and highly qualified employees from all over the world and to simplify bureaucratic hurdles in the process of their arrival in Leipzig. In the gap where human resource departments and international offices cannot offer comprehensive individual support and advice, Welcome to Leipzig will provide additional support, information and contacts.

Wissenschaftskino Leipzig

Many cinema, television and documentary films address important social issues. The relationship between reality and fiction is very different and often questions remain open after the cinema experience. At the Wissenschaftskino Leipzig, you have the opportunity to discuss precisely these questions with experts after the film experience. The events take place at the Zeitgeschichtliches Forum Leipzig.

Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften

Leipzig is a city of science!
Every two years you can experience this with all your senses. From 6:00 p.m. to midnight, there are numerous offers at 58 locations. You can visit institutes, laboratories, lecture halls, magazines, archives and houses, you can talk to scientists and researchers and what usually remains hidden from you will be on display that night.
