The Science Communication Forum 2026 will take place on December 9 and 10, 2026, in Leipzig. We at the Leipzig Science Network are proud to welcome the forum to Leipzig—at the Congress Hall at Leipzig Zoo. We are also delighted to be helping to organize the forum together with Leipzig's universities and research institutions.

What happens next

At the end of March, the program advisory board will decide on this year's main topic.
In April, the call for proposals for the 2026 Science Communication Forum will begin. We cordially invite you to participate with your own contributions. The program advisory board will select the contributions for the conference program from all submissions. 
In the summer, the program is scheduled to be published.
In September, registration for participation in the Science Communication Forum will be possible starting.

The organizers will announce the exact start date via the “Wissenschaft im Dialog” newsletter and social media channels.
