Managing Director Pascal Schaefer emphasizes: "With its membership, the city underlines its commitment to our science location Leipzig and its appreciation for the cross-institutional cooperation with which we want to better master the challenges in research, teaching, transfer and infrastructure. This is associated with a strengthening of the association's ability to act, for example in the areas of location marketing and urban development, as well as a uniform external image of Leipzig as a city of science.
